Toenail fungus is a very common condition and is experienced by as many as 10-15% of Americans. Clinically named onychomycosis, toenail fungus is an infection of the nail and nail bed that results in a change of appearance in the nail. Toenail fungus causes a nail to look yellow, brittle, thickened, and oddly shaped. Toenail fungus usually presents itself in warm, damp environments such as locker room. People who have diabetes, athlete’s foot, weak immune systems, or spend a lot of time in water are also likely to develop toenail fungus.
Q-switched laser treatment is the most effective method to treat toenail fungus. Unlike topical creams, lasers are able to emit light energy through the nail plate to the nail bed where the fungus and infection reside. Visible changes are not seen immediately, but can be seen after a few months, once the nail grows out.
Q-Switched Laser Treatment is a gentle alternative, and requires less sessions than skin resurfacing procedures to achieve similar results. Thus, reducing the chances of side effects greatly. It does not cause the skin to become thinner.

Non-permanent laser hair removal or laser hair bleaching, It is well-known that the fine hair (also known as baby hair) cannot be removed permanently by laser hair removal and sometimes though rear the opposite occurs, this fine hair is transformed to thick, coarse hair due to thermal effects of laser hair removal.
With QS-Ultralight we can offer our patients non-permanent laser hair removal or laser hair bleaching of fine hair using Q-Switched ND: YAG Laser targeting the melanin of fine hair shaft and bleaching it thus making it invisible and it will fall after 10-15 days without any risk of hair growth stimulation.
After 6-8 weeks the fine hair will reappear but with the same texture and quality. Some of our patients got a noticeable reduction in hair after a few sessions, but we cannot guarantee that for all patients.

What is a Carbon Laser Treatment?
A Carbon Laser Treatments is a medical grade mask composed of mineral mud of volcanic rock, applied to the skin prior to our Laser Rejuvenation facials.

The treatments work by applying a thin layer of the carbon mask onto the skin, which will then penetrate deep into the pores. The Medlite Q-switched laser is then used on top of the mask, targeting the carbon particles within the skin. As the laser passes over the skin, it destroys the carbon particles. This abolishes any dead skin, excess oil, and impurities that the peel has engaged with, thus cleansing and exfoliating the skin simultaneously. This results in immediately smoother, firmer, and brighter skin. On the treated area, Laser Hair Removal can be done 1 week before commencing course of Carbon Laser Treatments. No hair will be able to grow through once Carbon Laser Treatments are in the progress. If any hair does grow through Nd:Yag laser will discolour that hair and it will fall out within 1 or 2 weeks. This can happen especially on the lip area.
Causes of dark lips can be:
Nd: Yag laser emits light in 1056 nm range. It gets absorbed by black color containing cells in lips. Light gets converted to heat energy. This heat blasts the cells releasing the black pigment. Which eventually gets cleared off by the blood vessels leading to lip lightening.
Numbing cream is applied over lips for an hour. Laser shots are given to concerned dark lip areas. There is an immediate slight swelling. It settles down in next few hours. Crusts are formed next day which shed off in next 4 to 5 days time. When they shed off, they take off the blackish discoloration of lips along with them.

LASER: Mild crust formation would be there post treatment, but that can be easily hidden with lipsticks. Crust fall off in next 3 to 5 days time. After every session there would be mild crust formation.MICROPIGMENTATION: Initially the colour is dark. 70 %of colour fades off after 2 to 3 weeks. Whatever 30 % is left remains or a year. It looks very natural. Swelling is present post procedure for two to three days. Also peeling off of superficial layers is noticed post few days after the procedure. A lip balm and antibiotic is prescribed after the procedure for few days.
That depends. One needs to avoid the cause. If at all darkness returns, it would be at very slow pace. So what I recommend is a single laser session once a year to clear off whatever new pigmentation lip have accumulated. No repeat sessions cause no harm since laser never penetrates beyond skin.

It only takes a few treatments to break down the vein and reveal clear skin.
Decorative tattoos have a history dating back at least 5000 years. The desire to remove them has probably existed just as long. Early attempts to remove tattoos included methods like dermabrasions, salabrasions, and C02 lasers, which left scarring and were not designed to differentiate tattoo colors. The latest generation of Q-switched lasers represents the newest system capable of removing multiple tattoo inks with very low risk of scarring.

A healing ointment and a dressing will be applied to the area. The treated area should be kept clean with continued application of ointment antibiotic. A shower can be taken the next day, although the treated area should not be scrubbed.
